Office Updates

From Ms. Amodeo

hope that all of our middle school families enjoyed the extended, sunny Memorial Day weekend and took some time to remember and be grateful for those who have served our country.

This week kicks off the last month of school, which is packed with events of learning, celebration and appreciation. On Wednesday, our 7th graders head to the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge; Thursday night kicks off the spring concert season with performances by the 7th and 8th grade band and choruses; and Friday is our annual Day of Service during which students and staff will work together to give back to our school and community.

It's an exciting week at the middle school!

Service Day: Volunteers & Donations Needed

We will hold our annual Service Day on Friday, June 2nd (rain date: June 16th). This is a great opportunity for our middle schoolers to help out the school and wider community! We are looking for parent volunteers to help us on June 2nd. If you are interested, please contact Gail Brisson at gbrisson@tburg.k12.ny.us.

One of our activities will be to organize clothing donations so that we can have a stock of clothes for students who need them. If you would like to donate, please send in items with your student or bring them to the main office & let them know to give your donation to Ms. Brisson.

Donation Guidelines:

  • All clothes must be in very good condition. No rips or stains, please.
  • Clothing must be appropriate for middle schoolers.
  • New, packaged socks and underwear are welcome!
  • Limit of 1 bag of clothing per student.
  • Questions? Email Gail Brisson at gbrisson@tburg.k12.ny.us

To add funds to your child’s school lunch account, you can use our online system at MySchoolBucks or you can send a check directly to the TCSD Food Service Department. Students may always pay cash if they choose to as well.
